Travel and Work in Canada: 3 categories
There are three categories allowing you to balance your travel and work experience in order to get the most out of your time in Canada.
- Working Holiday
It is the ideal formula for students and non-students who want to supplement their travel experiences with temporary work. Working Holiday enables Canadians aged 18-35 to travel and take on work in Canada.
- Young Professional/Young Worker Opportunities
This formula allows participants aged 18-35 to gain serious international professional work experience in their field. Participants have the opportunity to diversify their competencies and aquire professional skills and experience in a foreign country. After completing this program, participants will be better able to compete in an increasingly globalized economy.
- International Co-operative Education
This program enables students to gain valuable overseas work experience related to their field of study. It also helps them make a successful transition from school to the working world. If you are in a co-op education program, this is the program for you.
Who can Apply?
To apply you must at least be:
In possession of a valid passport
Between the ages of 18 and 35
Able to cover initial living expenses
Without a criminal record
Other conditions might apply depending of your country of origin.
